USB i-Buddy Keeps Tabs On Your Buddies

Many people turn off their computer monitors to save energy and leave on their computers in hopes of getting a message from that special person. So leaving the sound on while trying to do your homework might drive you a little crazy since you will be checking every time the online status sound comes on for the people on your list. You will not know who it is unless you check because the sound is not specific to an individual. How about a way to check without moving a muscle as long as you're in the same room?

Well look no further because there is an i-Buddy waiting for you to setup as your own. This 3 inch tall figurine looks almost like the MSN messenger buddy icon. So how does it work you ask? Well first you plug your i-Buddy in through your USB via PC.

In the setup, you may choose if you want it to react to only one special friend or your whole contact list! I understand me speaking about setting up for your whole contact list defeats the purpose of the beginning of my article, but hear me out, there is another feature included in this wonderful little character!

First and foremost, the i-Buddy can be setup to react to only one person, which means it's heart will light up red when he/she comes online, (You can make it do more actions if you want.) Second it reacts to emoticons! So if your special someone send you a heart or a kiss, (whichever one you prefer to set), your i-Buddy will flap its wings, light up to 8 different colors, and spin its body accordingly.
